Dark Moody Bedroom in 1930's Townhouse

Project Location:

BISHOPS STORTFORD

Project Brief:

Create a moody and atmospheric bedroom that utilizes the client's existing furniture while transforming the space with coloured wallpaper panels and a surrounding dark paint scheme. The goal was to achieve a luxurious and cozy retreat that reflected a sophisticated yet comfortable aesthetic. Key Requirements: Dark, rich tones such so we used deep blue on the walls. Flooring: We stripped existing flooring to its natural finish and applied a slightly darker stain to complement the room's color scheme. It had a Matt finish for a sophisticated look.

Accents: Metallic accents like brushed brass or aged bronze added a touch of elegance and contrast against the dark backdrop. Wallpaper Selection: we created wallpaper panels to break up the vibrant wallpaper and give a more soothing and unusual look to the scheme.

Ambient Lighting: used dimmable lighting fixtures to control the mood and create a soft, inviting atmosphere. Table lamps with fabric in dark metal shades add warmth and character
